SALAHUDDIN’s MUSINGS

It’s hard to imagine a novel such as SIKANDER emerging from a mind not in some way or other subjectively affected by unfolding world events. I find myself as a member of a Muslim / Pakistani diaspora, who spent all but the first four years of his life in a “western” cultural context, to be thrust into a spectator’s perspective.

Unsurprisingly, issues come and go and we all form opinions about them. Those that arise in ways relevant to the SIKANDER story will usually get my attention and I’ll usually have a point of view. This blog is at least one place to express them.
